Weekly Update (02/28/09)

So this week has been pretty crazy for me because I have had a lot of tests and school work this week, and now that it is over, I am very happy. I was able to edit our newest episode much faster than I thought because I found a faster way to edit our shows and everything else.

So anyways, our newest episode was recorded last week at midnight during Holden's birthday, which he said was a great time for him. I chose not to edit the show until after I finished all of my school work so I would not be distracted and therefore, lose time studying and get bad grades. But it is all done now. Today, I am going to be doing photographs for another wedding, although this is not a paying job, but it's okay because it is merely a learning experience for me to shoot with a professional photographer. It should be a great time and I am excited.

So far, the show is going very well as we are recording in a much smaller span of time than before. As we have always stated, this is not as professional of a show because we do have lives and school to concentrate more on. However, we do this for fun and I want to try and at least make the show and everything else with it (the website, online store, blog) as best as I can so it looks professional. We don't make these episodes and just ramble on for 30 minutes about nothing and no editing. I take time to edit these episodes and come up with topics to talk about so they appeal to everyone.

Episode 105-Thrills, Chills, and Spills

Now here is a topic that we are very excited about. Where is the one place that you can go to at least once in our lives that allows us to go and publicly scream our lungs out for an entire day worth of fun? Theme Parks!! On today’s episode, we talk and share about what we love about theme parks and particularly focus on the three parks that are closest to us and the ones that we visit most often: Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Disneyland. Each has their own characteristics that we talk about and share some exciting stories from each one.

Weekly Update

Hello everyone!

I know it is super late, but my Fridays are usually spent very late anyways. So I think with this, I'm gonna start posting weekly update on Friday's just to give you updates on how Holden and I are doing with our regular lives. This week has been pretty easy as school was just school for the both of us, nothing really special.

But for right now, we are just doing what we can with our daily lives. I'm currently looking for another job while Holden is beginning to finish out school as a senior. I am excited for him because it is a big deal to graduate with your diploma.

So that is it for tonight as I am very tired. Just a long day of work and school stuff.

For our next show which will probably be recorded next week, we will have our theme park show, which personally, I am very excited about because I am a closet theme park NERD!! Disneyland is practically my second home. Our focus will mainly be on the parks that we are closest to, preferably Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. We will share stories from each park, our pros and cons, and have a mini debate about a certain topic.

Episode 104-Back In The Day

What is it that we all remember from being kids? Holden and I are kids of the 90s and we remember just about everything. On this episode, we come up with a list of our favorite movies, tv shows, toys, video games, and much more.

Also on today's episode, we give an update of what has been going with us and what we have been up to lately. Now that most of the technical problems for producing this show have been worked out, we will start to record and post shows more often now. Episode 103-Just Like Old Times

On today's show we discuss why we haven't recorded a fresh show for a long time. We have been really busy with school, but now that most of the kinks have been worked out regarding posting all the shows, we should be able to do our shows a bit more often now.

I create this episode over this past week and wanted to put together a fun show for everyone to listen to. If you have listened to our first episode, we mentioned that we had previously attempted a podcast, but did not figure out all the technical parts of it to post them all. However, i dug into the archives of my old computer and found the three episodes that we did. What I did was compile them together into one long episode, and will have minor breaks in between each of them.

Episode 102-The Dating Game

In every dudes life, he will be struck with a crush or in love with someone. A big question to every person, guys and girls alike, is how to be able to handle that relationship and even what to do on a first date. So many questions are asked everyday regarding how to treat your date, what to do in case of a fight, and how to go about meeting the father of you date, which can be the scariest part.

On this episode, we give our opinions on these questions and how we believe a first date should be executed.

Also discussed at the beginning of the show are updates in our lives, and current events happening throughout the world. Please again, bear in mind that most of these episodes being posted right now were previously recorded months before so events that we discuss such as the 2008 Presidential Election have already happened.
